This hotel is in a great location for visiting the old city of Quebec. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. It isn't a totally traditional hotel with 24 hour desk service so that is a limitation that some might not like, but it was a fine place to stay. Just be aware that check in really isn't open until 4:00!

The room was too small for two people.
There was only one roll of toilet paper, and it was already half used. No extra toilet paper was provided in the bathroom.
The quilt was dirty in one of its edges.
Housekeeping was disappointing. No one came to clean the room for two days, and we had to request it ourselves.
The reception staff were decent but not proactive.
The breakfast was okay.
The best thing about this hotel is its location. It’s in downtown, within walking distance of most major attractions. If you prefer not to walk, an Uber ride to most attractions takes only about 7–10 minutes.

The room was clean and pretty, but it was on the ground floor so we had to keep the curtains closed all the and night and it was very noisy.

Far more bad than good

The good stuff:
- The desk staff when we arrived was lovely
- It's in the Old Walls
The bad stuff:
- No phone number to be able to call with questions or concerns
- Two towels were dirty (hair, stain)
- mould in the tub
- ac unit droned loudly all night but was necessary to keep on
- shower gel dispenser was empty
- bathmat was damp and there was a facecloth hanging from the curtain rod
- hotel halls needed care - lots of scrapes, paint flecks missing
- the included breakfast was mediocre at best
This was so bad I've cancelled my upcoming booking here.

The desk was not staffed when I had questions. When I got to ask questions, s the person at the desk did not know the answer. At check-in we were told that there would be no housekeeping, but on day 3 of our 2 day stay we returned to the room to find the bed made and no towels. We had left valuables about thinking we would be alone in the room, but would not have done that. The light bulbs in the fixtures in the room had been taken out except for 1 bulb in the bathroom and 1 in the bedroom making it quite dark. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet even though it was on street level.
