A great space for a business traveller. Clean, with a nice kitchenette. About a 15 minute walk (flat) through Gastown to the Convention Centre.

Great communication and welcome gifts (coffee, chocolate, and beer) but missing small toiletries like moisturizer and or body lotions. The blinds beed black out curtains. I worked late and needed to sleep in but couldn't due to sun coming in.
The AC needed to be turned off because it started ticking during the night.

Nice bed and bathroom do not trump unsafe streets and actual hotel building.

The hotel is located on the dividing line between Gastown and Chinatown; if you turn left out of the front door you have quality restaurants and shopping within the first block...if you turn right? You have made an ENORMOUS mistake and need to hang a U-turn. I had read the earlier review regarding the open drug usage (shooting up with needles and smoking whatever in glass pipes) along the sidewalk for multiple blocks and starting with 10 meters of Block House. WTF Vancouver? I thought it was an exaggeration, it was not and this is during the World Cup, when most cities attempt a best possible image.
The passcode entry box worked fine BUT the basement of the hotel hosts some type of fitness business with their customers also having the combination to get in and the elevator having no safeguard to keep randos from accessing the residence floors AND the basement people leaving/propping open the door to the street.
The room was great. Simple and comfortable. The easy access to fresh towels in the hallway, again easy and well-done. Great shower, good bed.
I would stay here in a heartbeat IF it had a different location or the City of Vancouver decided to address its street people problems. Otherwise, I will NEVER stay here again and will be unambiguously clear to others looking to visit Vancouver to stay away.

We loved the room. The property is located close to restaurants and shopping. I was not a fan of the parking lot.

The space was perfect for one person. Clean and comfortable with windows facing the street which allowed good light. The entrance and door are keyless so no worrying about losing a key. There was also laundry available on site.
It is in Gastown so there are plenty of places to eat and shop. There is parking on site if needed but is also a 10 minute walk to the Waterfront Station and the buses are a block away so transportation is near.
One caveat, there was no sound proofing so I could hear both my neighbors. They did abide by quiet times so it wasn't an issue unless you like to sleep in.
I would book here again when in town.
