Great Retreat with Friends❤️
Just returned from Fox Harb’r Resort with beautiful views from your rooms, restaurants, pool, gym, sauna….
Fantastic service, food was excellent, great place to visit with friends, family and couples.
We, 18 AquaFit Ladies from Halifax had a wonderful time enjoying their tropical feeling pool with nice chairs, hot tub, mineral pool, steam room, sauna. Amazing.
The Breakfast was fabulous and delicious. Dinner was great, great atmosphere, delicious dishes.
Great place to spend time with your loved ones.
Thank you again for making our visit very memorable and special.

Disappointing
The golf course was pieced together while being renovated. No bottle of water, no towels…. only 2 holes on the water for $255. Our room wasn’t made up …. Food was disappointing…. Except the sourdough bread & homemade jams.

Over rated, would not go back
We were very disappointed with our experience. From the moment we arrived we were not given any direction. We checked in and the poor communication started there as I was just directed to make payment without being told what the fees were. We were not given any direction on where to find our carts and there was no one at bag drop. We saw another gentlemen who apparently was also looking for help as he asked us if we worked here. I was trying to find the range and was finally told it was under renovation and if I wanted to warmup I could use my own balls and go to the fairway that is not being used due to renovations. The bright spot of the day was the 2 gentleman who started us. They were awesome! The course is in the middle of renovations so the holes don’t match up with the card or an 18 Birdies or comparable apps. We played Links at Brunello, (Awesome) Bell Bay (Terrific)
Green Gables(loved it) Crowbush (was all we expected, so good!) Paid $750 for the 2 of us at Fox Harb’r and it was clearly our #5 and would not have played it had we known our experience would be what it was.

A little bait and switch
We will travel a long way to go to this resort. We are booked at Cabot and had a great experience. Unfortunately, the Fox Harb’r resort experience was not the same. They were difficult to get a hold of as we had to make several phone calls just to talk to a human. We booked multiple rooms , have reservations at the restaurants and have multiple tee times.
We were also planning on using the spa services and were promised a token discount because we were spending so much time and money at the resort. As we have gotten closer to our stay, that promise was not honored anymore. You would think for spending over $10,000 spending at the resort, they would honor their word. Unfortunately, I was wrong.
I would plan on staying at Cabot and skipping this resort.

Lovely Resort
Stayed here for 4 nights for a conference/retreat. Executive room was large, updated and well appointed. Did have some HVAC issues (remedied quickly) and the fireplace would not turn on but the beds were very comfortable and my location to the main buildings was fabulous. The room could have been cleaner, hair on the floor that wasn't mine and behind the tub had not been cleaned for a very long time. A note for anyone travelling on their own with suitcases, you could have to drag the suitcase up a flight of stairs as there is not elevators in the buildings with the hotel rooms. The buildings look like small homes and there are 6-8 hotel rooms in each "house". Food was great, venue and views were incredible. The archery, ax throwing and shooting were very fun! The only unfortunate part of the trip was the early morning machinery wake up call right outside my bedroom window, every single morning at 7am.
