The staff was amazing, they solved a couple complicated needs I had for my next travels.
The room was nice and comfortable, but noisy, you could hear everything in the halls.
Breakfast was very basic.
I would have rated 3 stars, but staff really made the difference.

a wonderful smaller hotel in the center of ancient datong city, with helpful staff, comfortable room and a great breakfast to start the day. the hotel is a short walk to all the must-see sights in ancient datong city. i would definitely stay here again if i return to datong.

This is a great small inn in the heart of the walled city of Datong, close to all the sights. The staff were very helpful and breakfast was delicious. The entrance is a little hard to find though, located just behind the mosque.
