Constant use of Pullman Hotels
We have been using Pullman hotels all over the world for over three years. The level of hotel chains is usually high and with few exceptions predictable from a good point of view. This hotel exceeded all our wishes in terms of price-quality. As platinum-level All system holders, we were granted all the benefits and privileges of status immediately upon arrival. Upgraded the room, included a visit to the lounge and so on. Clean linen in the room, beautiful views of the area from the top floors of a beautiful tower, good cleaning, delicious breakfasts, comfortable lounge service, helpful staff. The location of the hotel is gorgeous. Nearby is the huge North Station with a good shopping mall, a bunch of restaurants and a big transportation hub. Some subway lines. Exit to the subway, to the station square, almost immediately from the hotel. The centre can be reached in 15-20 minutes. The large walking area around the station allows a good walk, the air is quite clean. There was one problem at first. In winter, condiches are only heated. It was impossible to set the temperature below 22 degrees at night. And we humans spoiled by civilization need 18. Windows don't roll at all. Ventilate at outside temperature at night 10-12 degrees, impossible. The problem was solved quite simply. It turned out that the builders had made provision for special ventilation holes from the room directly to the street. It was impossible to see those holes. They're hidden under the exterior walls. On the third day, the engineers showed us these valves and we slept very well thereafter. Turns out we're the only ones so choosy... Pea princesses, man.

Breakfast : if you like to see a 40 meter ( 120') breakfast buffet, stay here. We have seen good breakfast buffet's on our world wide trip's, but nothing like this. The hotel is direct on the trainstation Shenzen North. Dont take a taxi, it's 2 min away. the entry is very hard to find.

Absolute nightmare experience
I stayed at the Pullman Shenzhen North from July 17th to 18th, and what should have been a smooth, upscale stay turned into an absolute nightmare at checkout.
When I went to settle my bill, I asked to use my Accor reward points to pay for part of my stay. The front desk staff flatly refused, claiming they don’t accept points at the counter. I knew this wasn't right, so I actually called the Accor customer hotline right there at the desk and also the related T&C. Even though the corporate hotline agent explicitly confirmed the hotel is supposed to accept them, the front desk staff still refused to budge.
I ended up stuck at reception for over two hours arguing about a standard program benefit. It completely ruined my morning and delayed my entire schedule for the day. In the end, they forced me to just pay the full amount on my credit card anyway.
For a premium Pullman property, this level of service and lack of basic staff training is shocking. If you’re an Accor loyalty member looking to use your hard-earned points, be very careful staying here.

Super convenient location and staff very attentive
This was my first time staying at Pullman Shenzhen North. The hotel was super convenient which could be easily accessible from HSR Shenzhen North Station East Plaza on foot within 5 to 10 mins. Hotel staff, no matter he/she was from front desk, concierge, or housekeeping, were all attentive, responsive and helpful. The room itself was well decorated and equipped all necessities. A little drawback was that the light switches were a bit confusing and needed trial and error. The room size was spacious and it offered good skyline view. It would be a good option if travelling to Shenzhen (Longhua District) by HSR.

Great hotel if you are transferring from HK airport to high speed rail from Shenzhen North. Great rooms and breakfast.

According to the relevant provisions of the "Notice on the Accommodation Industry Not Providing Disposable Daily Necessities" and the "Notice on Star-rated Hotels Not Providing Disposable Daily Necessities in Guest Rooms", starting from May 28, 2020, the accommodation industry in Shenzhen will no longer proactively provide disposable items, including: toothbrushes, combs, bath towels, razors, nail files, and shoe brushes. If you need them, please contact the hotel for them.
During the period from May 1st to October 1st, temporary traffic control and reservation measures will be implemented in Dapeng Peninsula and Meisha District on all weekends and statutory holidays. Reservations are required if you drive there!
Children can sleep in the room for free. No extra bed provided.
