Good and nice hotel.

Nice! clean rooms, they met my desire for a room whose window did not face the outside. I received effective care on WhatsApp. Breakfast at $10 COP. It is located in the Bolivar neighborhood, behind the lottery of Cauca. If I'd come back again.

Good hotel in not such a good location

Ok, lets start with the positives. Having tried many hotels in Popayan, this one is very good. Taking into account the low price, makes it a little more appealing. My room, a single was a whopping $15. It was clean and had hot water! Breakfast is extra for $2!
However, breakfast closes at 8:45 am so you need to be sharp if you want some eggs!
None of the rooms have air conditioning but that is okay for the evening temp in Popayan. You get one towel per person (don't bother asking for extra towels), and a bottle of liquid soap.
What do you expect for the price you are paying?
The hotel is clean and the staff are very pleasant.
Ok, now the negative! The hotel is not a great part of town. It isn't surrounded by short stay hotels and of an evening you will see street walkers; women and men.
I would not walk around this areas after the sun goes down.
All in all, I would still recommend it, if you are careful. Cannot be the price, and cleanliness is a huge factor. Just do not turn right, when you leave the hotel.

Clean, comfortable hotel

This hotel is located about 3 minutes from the main square in the old town. Its clean, quiet and our room was also very spacious. It all seemed new. The shower was excellent. Wifi worked well. Breakfast was solid (eggs or a sandwich). Very secure place also.

Nice new hotel

The staff were very friendly.
The hotel is in an area close to town, but not entirely safe. We got a taxi into town.
The rooms are brand new and very clean. However, the owners need to add some way of hanging towels, or at least a coat.
The design looks good; but I wouldn't have thought it a good idea to have an indoor ground floor car park open to the hotel. During breakfast upstairs someone downstairs was revving an engine and we could smell the fumes!
The breakfast area was otherwise lovely, and the simple, freshly-prepared breakfast was great.

Nice modern hotel.

Stayed here for one night. This place is very slick and modern. Rooms are a little small and don't have much character but it makes up for this by being so clean and comfortable. It was also very quiet so we got a good nights sleep which was great.
Location is good for exploring the old town. We weren't feeling up to eating out so ordered a pizza. Staff were helpful in directing the delivery girl up to our room.
Breakfast was tasty.
Our stay was also very good value for money, costing around £20 GBP for the room and breakfast for two people. Can't go wrong with that!
