Excellent location and a great staff!
Its a great place to get the vintage experience and the staff are helpful and courteous. Since it was summer time the top most floor was way too stuffy but on notifying the staff, they happily moved me to a better room. The breakfast was good, above all an excellent location at an affordable price!

Wonderful, More Time to Stay was my wish
This Hotel is a Juwel of youthstyle, wonderful the origionality the Suiten 211 and 311 are Originals furnished with a new modern Great bathroom, with sight to the Town Place and Calm. The new reopened Restaurant is with the new Style of Kitchen and very nice service also an experience, as well as the Perfect breakfast with the opportuninty to take at the balcnony.

Art Deco at its best
This hotel is a haven for admirer of the Art Deco period. The interior, especially in the first floor restaurant and rooms are in keeping with this style.
We stayed in the junior suite at the top floor with a balcony and beautiful view of the square and historic town hall. An antiquated elevator took us up.
The room is beautiful with furniture in period style and a room divider that’s a real museum piece: over 100 years ord with hand woven panels in gobelin technique. Stunning and so surprising to find a piece of this quality and high economical value in a hotel room.
The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the breakfast served here is quite adequate, with no surprises. Awful, to loud and computer generated background music drags disturbs the experience.
The hotel provides secure, free parking on the grounds.

Great Value!
Booked a Junior Suite for 3 nights, incl breakfast.
We arrived by train and were given directions to catch a tram to Ferrovia and then walk the 5 minutes. We decided to walk the whole way from the station. Initially downhill and then once reaching the tram interchange its a uphill walk those 5 minutes. Not terribly difficult.
Hotel Praha is located on the main square to the side of the town hall, so in a very central location. Its decor is Art Nouveau and the public areas are lovely.
A pleasant check in, we were allocated Room 410. There are 2 lifts; 1 looks like an original with a cage type surrounded by the old staircase. The other is more modern. Both work very well.
Our room is a corner room. It had a short hallway, was spacious with a seating area of 2 easy chairs, a tv and our beds. Plenty of hanging space. Wifi is free and fast. The windows-there are 4 of them- are openable and double glazed with great views overlooking the impressive buildings and also the square.
The bathroom was a good size and has a bath with shower over it and a drying rack-always useful when travelling.
Breakfast is held in the lovely spacious period dining room on the 1st floor. The tables have cloths on them and the serviettes are a heavy type fabric. Its carpetted so its not noisy, which is nice in the morning and there was also piano music playing too. The room gets the sun in the morning and overlooks the square. There is enough choice for people but nothing to really rave about. There is some hot food sitting in warmers-scrambled eggs and sausages, but mostly cold choices. We ate breakfast there 3 mornings and it seems there is more choice earlier than later. Staff nice enough. Its the room I am particularly impressed with and the old lift of course
Consider that Hotel Praha is good value having regard to the location and the size of the room in a lovely building.

Brilliant location and good service
I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is perfect - right on the main square and close to everything. Car parking was easy (booked ahead to reserve a place) and the room was comfortable. I slept well (comfortable bed) and great shower. Breakfast was perfectly acceptable. I will be visiting Liberec often and will definitely stay here again.
