Great stay

I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere quite like the Hostel Moravia Ostrava.
My single room was ENORMOUS with plenty of wardrobe space, a sofa and a large table.
The room was tastefully decorated - with even an antique mirror table - as indeed was the corridor outside and the whole hotel. There is a sign on the door that the place has been active since 1850 or similar.
There was free shower gel and even slippers provided.
The owner was great and nothing was too much trouble for her.
Yet the toilet and shower were in the corridor, the accommodation calls itself a hostel not a hotel, there is a kitchen for guests hostel-style and reception is only open from 4pm to 8pm (save for special requests).
Is it a hostel or a hotel? It's both and neither.
The place is a stone's throw from the main train station and 10 minutes from the centre by frequent tram.
I paid 797 crowns/€31.50 (including city tax).

Best kind efficient

Hostel owner is very kind person.
He explained me a Ostrava city specifically
And recommend me a good trip options
Also when better room was empty he gave me a upgraded room.^^
I highly recommend to come here u guys

Clean and good location

This is not the Ritz but it's clean, handy to the train station, the trams are at your door step and George is very very good at explaining where things to visit are as well as good eating places and bars.

Faulty Towers

Perfect location for the main railway and bus stations. Walking distance to the centre but also well connected with trams and busses. Very good value and everything you need for an overnight stay. The gentleman (George) working the reception was very welcoming and knowledgeable. The rooms were very bare and the place felt a bit like a hospital but it was clean.

Nice place

Rooms are spacious , clean. Common kitchen is well equipped, and very clean. Common bathroom and shower is always clean . This place is in great location . It is close to main train station , and it is a few stops by public transportation to city center and Stodolni street .
Staff is very friendly . Especially Jirka, who know area very well, he will share with you
Stories about historical buildings which are in area, he will direct you to interesting places and will try to help you in any way which he can . I recommend this place . If I am coming back I would definitely stay here again .
