Super lunch

Super lunch, extremely good betjninj. I got a “Parisian steak”, very surprised. Hand-scratched pepper root, hand-cut scratched beets, hand-shaken onions. Real egg yolk and a crisp Parisian steak. All including excellent service only kr. 138,-

It is perfectly ok for short stay if you need to sleep and continue. Restaurant in house is handy; food ok.

Horrible beds

Even though the Hotel is ok, rooms spacious and bathrooms updated then when it comes down to it sleeping is why you are there.
The mattress was so soft and totally without support, woke up with a sore back every day I slept there. Like to sleep with door to balcony partly open so fresh air can get in, but that also means that the traffic noise was annoying especially from 4:30 AM when the trucks drove by.
Breakfast was enough for me, but for most people it wasn’t, only bread, cereal and a boiled egg.
Dinner (you pay extra) was very good and tasty, but disappointing that you had to pay 40kr for bread and butter.

Small old fashioned budget hotel.

Somewhere between a small budget hotel and a bed and breakfast, it’s the kind of old fashioned place well kept but never updated. Super steep stairs. Arrived late and nobody was on reception but they left an envelope with my name and the keys. Beds were ok, pillows confortable, bathroom clean with no amenities. Nice balcony towards a theee max the street. We were happy there was a ventilator in the closet as room got warm at night. Breakfast was really poor, but the person working there try to help as much as she can. Very weird check out time (10.00, exactly when breakfast is closed). Parking with electric charger available.
