Good location but boring hotel

Nice location. Nice and clean. The rooms are boring, very standard. The bathroom was very small and of the kind that easily gets wet over everything. Breakfast was under standard, however with an incredibly cute lady as hostess. After 19:00 the reception is closed and the elevator is not available. Overall, the hotel seems a little old and expensive compared to what you get.

Perfect hotel

Visited the hotel in connection with a Christmas trip around DK.
Nice hotel with plenty of beautiful history on the walls.
Room large, with everything and more than usual. Nice furniture, clean and really good circulation.
Quiet, and with a nice view over the square.
We had dinner at the restaurant associated with the hotel.
We got a 3-course menu, really tasty.
Only minus, difficult to find the hotel's p-place, so get it closest before arrival.
Would like to come back.

Great location for this historic hotel. Although there is parking behind the hotel it is not included in the room price and is expensive. The breakfast buffet was average. They ran out of the fresh loaves of bread and did not replenish them.

Excellent hotel in the center of Silkeborg

Our room was perfect, with beds of top standard, well equipped and perfectly cleaned. The breakfast was awesome. We find the location perfect for exploring the beautiful surroundings, such as the lake district and the Himmelbjerg area as well as visit the picturesque town.
