Great experience!

Beautiful and elegant hotel in the "old" part of Quito. We spent 2 nights there & thoroughly enjoyed it. The view & meals were fabulous as was the service. We highly recommend this hotel!

Two night stay in a friendly well designed hotel

On arrival we were very warmly welcomed by several staff with refreshing towels and lavender tea.
The room was on the third floor and very spacious. A small apartment really.
Bed was large with good linen and very comfortable. Very quiet area at night. Bathroom spacious with lots of soft towels, decent hairdryer and even a set of scales so you can assess how much weight the delicious Ecuadorian food has added.
Breakfast was a delight in The Egg. The two young ladies were attentive, introduced us to the unfamiliar items on the buffet selection and menu plus made some suggestions on where to eat, visit etc. Due to their enthusiasm we returned to The Nest to dine that evening.
Dinner. Each dish was beautifully presented and explained by the waiter.
All staff encountered were lovely. A shame we only had a short time here including a very early departure ( breakfast boxes left for us).
Highly recommended.

Illa Experience Hotel lives up to its name in every delightful way!

Illa Experience Hotel in Quito is such a charming and delightful hotel! The hotel staff is very friendly — they greeted us when we arrived with warm hand towels and lavender tea and they took care of our every need. The design of the hotel takes advantage of the Spanish courtyard style of architecture. We had clean spacious rooms with beautiful views overlooking our courtyard. At 5 pm, they provide different “experiences”, and we tried our hand at pyrography, using a heated metal pen to burn an image into wood. Our dinner and breakfast at “NESTS”, their rooftop restaurant with spectacular views of Quito and its surroundings, was also delicious.

The staff is the best!

Everyone was wonderful, Daniella, Michele, Juan and Estefani in particular. The breakfast was the best overlooking Quito. And the 360 night view in the rooftop is mesmerizing with all the lights. The hotel is clean and has all the modern amenities. Just lovely.
