Layover for Cuyabeno

We booked it on Booking.com where it is declared as a five star hotel - its really not close to it and I think its a mistake. The hotel is ok, rooms are huge, bathroom was clean but it does not have any atmosphere. Its a bit away from the town centre but was good as a layover before our journey to Cuyabeno Nature Reserve.

Das Hotel ist definitiv kein Fünf-Sterne-Hotel, auch nicht nach ecuadorianischem Maßstab. Die Zimmer sind sauber und groß, alles ist sehr steril ausgestattet. Es gab bei unserem eintätigen Aufenthalt kein warmes Wasser. Weiterer Nachteil: Der Autolärm kommt durch die dünnen Fenster. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist ok, aber nicht berauschend. Aber für die Locals scheint das ein tolles Hotel zu sein - dort werden zu Beispiel offenbar Hochzeiten gefeiert.

Tranquilo

Muy limpio y pulcro, buena atención por parte del personal incluyendo el dueño. No tiene servicio de restaurant pero enfrente hay uno con muy buena comida LA HUECA DEL NEGRO.
Wifi, transporte a y desde el aeropuerto. Los cuartos a la calle pueden ser ruidosos. Piscina y estacionamiento privado.
En un mes he estado ya dos veces y pienso regresar
