Surprisingly nice hotel for the price
We recently spent two pleasant nights in a Junior Suite. The room was spacious (though not a suite in the traditional sense), clean, quiet, and functional (despite some water leaks in the bathroom). Comfortable bed and sofa, decent cabinet space for unpacking a bit. We appreciated the classy central courtyard where you can sit and relax with a snack and a cup of tea in the evening, the gorgeous views from the rooftop terrace, and the very convenient central location. All staff members we interacted with were polite and professional, and we were happy with the luggage storage and taxi arrangements they made for us, including a reasonably-priced private transfer to Quito.

Central and convenient
The property is clean, cozy and well organized, ideal for both a short break and a longer stay. The rooms are comfortable, nice and quiet. Pillows and mattresses are comfortable for good sleep quality. The staff is very friendly and helpful, always ready to help and make guests feel at ease. The location is central and convenient and allows easy access to the main points of interest of the city of Latacunga. Also good breakfast. At guests' disposal there is also the panoramic terrace and the restaurant. Great value for money.

Highly recommend. Beautiful hotel in excellent location
Beautiful hotel, only one in the world entirely made of pumice! The service and room were both excellent. Fabulous breakfast of fresh fruit, juice and egg scramble made to order. Walking distance from everything in old part of town. Would stay again!

We enjoyed our one night stay and would love to come back! It is walking distance tona huge market, stores, vendors and restaurants. The coffee was wonderful, as was the breakfast. The staff was extremely courtious as well. One unique feature is that it is the only hotel in the world made entirely out of pumice (volcanic rock)

Amazing time with lovely people
I went to the Golden rest before and after the Quilotoa loop, and both time I slept in great beds in this beautiful hostel with an amazing view on the Cotopaxi from the rooftop. The owners are very friendly and helpful !
