Decent solution at a budget price

Nice building, helpful staff, large and clean rooms, adequate bathroom, free parking included. Yes, this entry point/budget price level is a decent solution.
I add, central from the Russian border and the city center.

Simple & effective

A hotel that does the job well! there, it must be said. Close to the center and reasonably priced, in short, it is effective. For the rest, a decoration that stays in his juice, we'll say. The neighborhood is relatively quiet, although we were treated to some wild fireworks in the middle of the night. Despite the language barrier, the staff seems quite pleasant. Breakfast is worth it, very friendly. I recommend it if you go through this address.
However, there is one small thing that deserves intervention: it would be really good to clean the windows of their cobwebs. Having 4 or 5 large spiders and their friendly webs around the window outside unfortunately does not make you want to open it, which is still the purpose of a window and can sometimes be necessary.
PS: a strange smell in the rooms was not necessarily very pleasant, without it being too painful either.

Ok hotel for a one-night-stay

I come from Norway. Went to Tallinn early July 2022, took a train to Narva and checked in at Central Hotel in the evening. I travelled alone, and had booked a room for four nights.
The check-in was quick enough, got the key and a direction for my room. My room number was 23, this may be important for you if you want to check in here. The view was the backyard.
The room was simple, double bed, tv, two chairs, a desk. I had to search a little to find a socket to charge my phone and kindle. Bathroom with four towels, soap and shampoo. Wifi-network for each floor, as I understood it.
Breakfast was simple, but ok.
Room walls are like made of paper, so everything you do others will hear. And everything others does, you will hear. Ceiling was squiking and sqwaking every time somebody walked over the floor, the steps down from third to second floor, which was close to my room, was even worse. Every morning at six, six thirty I woke up from people who marched through the corridor pass my door, like elephants. Slamming doors and talking loud.
The smoking area is located in the backyard, directly under my window. So every time someone had the need to inhale poison to their lungs they went outside and stood under my window. Because of this I usually didn't open my window, except some hours at night.
The staff is polite, speaking russian and some english.
The hotel is about 15 minuts walk from the railway station, ten minutes from the Narva river. A couple of super markets are close, Lidl and Rimi. Rimi is closest, about two minutes, you'll find it in the Fama shopping center. Lidl is not my first choise, but I guess it's up to you to decide.
You find some pubs close to the old town by the border control. If you want more shops and center-like areas I suggest you walk pass Fama, and continue five ten minutes.

Affordable small hotel

15 to 20 min walking from train/bus station and even shorter from the Russian boarder. Rooms are pretty small but clean and has own bath room with shower. The area is quiet and has three good restaurant very close. All the sights are within walking distance. If you wish to visit Narva Joesuu spa hotel area, there is a bus stop very close to the hotel and the ride is free.
