Good place to sleep/shower during Steelfest

I stayed at Hotel Kiljava for three nights while attending a metal festival in Hyvinkaa with 100+ other festival attendees. The staff was super friendly and the room, while truly spartan, was clean and provided a good place to sleep and keep my belongings. The water was just warm enough to comfortably shower but at least it wasn't cold. The included breakfast buffet did it's job and gave me enough fuel (and coffee!) to make it to lunchtime. While the hotel is old, I really didn't mind that. The property itself is beautiful. All things said, a nice place but if you are the type to spend a lot of time in your room you might want to seek other accommodations.

Lakeside Hotel and resort that was pretty quiet this time of year. Quite ok in many ways - maybe the breakfast was not the best ever.

Old, but super nice resort in an amazing location in the middle of nature and by a lakeside. Friendly staff, good breakfast. Shame for the terrible weather I was having, as there's lots of possibilities for outdoor activities. Will definitely remember this and go for a longer tyime to enjoy nature.

Unfortunately the sauna and pool were out of order. The room and facilities are worse than the pictures show and there is a weird smell on the room floors. The location is very good.

It’s an old school and the rooms are really telling you that. The personal was rude and wouldn’t give us a second towel for the “spa”. Which was a inside swimming pool and a sauna. The sauna were really dark and the pool was ICE cold. There were not enough lockers for 4 families.
The breakfast didn’t open until 8. The coffee was bad, bacon were burnt or undercooked, the eggs were “bag mix”.
