Bauhaus in Arles?

The hotel has no reception and no elevator. That's not so great when you're in the 3rd floor with suitcases. Stick must.
Otherwise: The house could also be located directly in Dessau next to the Bauhaus. Sure, matter-of-fact, with a minimum of frills (if any). It is newly renovated and has been given a thoroughly Bauhaus-like color concept for the staircase. Our room (No. 8 in the 3rd(!) Stock) was simple, functional and self-contained — except for the cabinets! Low wooden boxes where you couldn't hang anything and which didn't fit the rest at all. Metal industrial lockers would certainly be a better choice here. (Therefore a star deduction). Otherwise: Central location, convenient compared to other hotels.
Interessant: The restaurant “Simone” on the ground floor called “Pop-up Restaurant” has only two starters, two main courses and three desserts. But everything tasted great!

Arles without air conditioning in summer

Well placed, not very expensive, I liked the decor and the small balcony on the square... For the rest I did not see anyone (the keys are on the door on arrival, we leave them on the door on departure), access by stairs can be steep for some, breakfast is to be taken outside, the soundproofing is non-existent while the place is noisy and especially the room is not air-conditioned, which totally forbids me to imagine returning to this hotel in summer...

Good location, poorly soundproofed

Great location Place Voltaire which is located 2 steps from the bullring and the train station.
Small room on the 2nd floor with sixties decoration, good bedding, all 9 rooms have a nice balcony overlooking the square. Small price (75€/ night bridge of May 1)
Pay car park day 3 min at the end of the voltaire street, along the Rhone
On the other hand, balls waiting for you on the bedside and you understand why: poorly soundproofed between the rooms and the upper floors, simple glazing, and snoring from a wind tunnel (maybe due to the restaurant below??)
Impossible to see in mirror SDB, much too low!!
Presence of 2 fans in the
room, I recommend this place in the summer given the bad insulation and simple glazing.

Ideally placed

Simple, efficient and very clean.
In the heart of old Arles.
5 minutes walk from the Arena and 10 minutes from the train station.
A spacious bedroom on the top floor.
Breathtaking view and terrace.

Hotel...I was expecting something...

I booked a room for two nights, in this hotel. The request was €75 per night without breakfast.
I arrived at a two/three star hotel. The structure has no lift, the absence of which was mentioned by the manager. The building offers very little, cleanliness and location. The rooms do not have a wardrobe, bedspreads that show their age and wear and tear. The sink is in the room, the bathroom is not heated. A towel holder is missing, the bedside tables are made of two nice bricks, there isn't even a shampoo, no bag in the waste bin, a shower mat .No TV and fridge, fan. Insufficient internal and external soundproofing.
