Scammer hotelier

I had booked in January 2023 for the Avignon festival in July 2023. At the beginning of June, the hotel informed me that my credit card was not valid and that they canceled my reservation. I contact my bank who tells me that there is no problem with my card and I contact the hotel. The people responsible for the July reservations never called me back and I was never able to speak with them. A week later, my room was available again at double the price. You should know that it is very difficult to find accommodation during the Avignon festival. They are scammers who don't even have the courage for their actions. I reported the problem to Booking but I don't believe they removed this hotel from their site. I saw on Google that other people had the same problem.

Awful staying

Couldn't sleep the whole night because of the noise of the electric cables coming from the walls. Shower wouldn't drain, causing awful smell and flies all over the room. No facilities at all, barely toilet paper. Dirty and noisy, as if windows didn't exist at all.

Perfect location for a cheap stay

The location is right on the main street, just down from the Pope's Palace and the major tourist sites so makes getting around very easy. For what you pay, you get everything you would expect and it is very clean. The reception are very helpful and friendly and there is a lift.
