Great location with very friendly helpful staff. Lovely breakfast, would stay again. Aircon in the room was a bonus.

Stay of 2 nights at the Hotel Kyriad in Châteauroux.

Last weekend I stayed at the Kyriad Hotel for 2 nights. The smiling Welcoming of the staff is really nice, the room very clean and faithful to the photos. As for the restaurant room, it is very bright and is very well maintained. On each table, a small cactus (these are my favorite plants).

Rooms were basic and dated and the breakfast buffet had flies around it. Not great overall.

On arrival we were informed that the restaurant was closed and as there were no other restaurants nearby, we ended up getting a snack from the local supermarket. Other options close by were closed on a Monday or having work done on them. We were not happy about it having just come a long distance!
However, the room was quiet and clean, the bed comfortable and the breakfast plentiful and varied.

Nice hotel passing

Nice place to stay. You sleep well with great pillows. Opposite a petrol station where petrol is cheap.
