An unforgettable stay. Nice cottage in a beautiful city. Cordial Welcoming. Lots of care in the details

Recently stayed at the cottage "Les Orchidae". To our complete satisfaction. First of all, we were only a 3-5 minute walk from the Old Basin, but in an oasis of tranquility: from the street we enter a spacious, bright and silent garden courtyard. The cottage consists of two apartments, on the ground floor and upstairs (accessible by an external staircase). Three cars are parked there and there is still plenty of space, arranged with armchairs, sun loungers and table to eat outside (weather permitting). Apartment well supplied with everything it takes for two adults and ready to accommodate a third person with a sofa bed. As agreed in advance, the double bed in the room had been separated into two 90 cm wide beds. Everything is furnished with style, quality and consistency. The closet in the bedroom is really very functional design. Kitchen, well equipped with dishes and tools to prepare neat and varied dishes. Full-size fridge, enough to avoid everyday shopping. Nice bathroom, spacious, with large shower cabin, sink and toilet. The apartment also has a "small corner" with toilet and sink.
The owners, Genny and Giuseppe, are very, very nice and discreet at the same time. They gave us valuable opinions on all practical and tourist aspects, on Honfleur and Normandy as a whole. Committing to focus on details that can be improved can help, but you have to be reasonable, because it's not essential. An unforgettable stay, to recommend without doubt.
