Excellent place to stay

Excellent experience and service. Clean rooms, close to the sanctuary, and solid breakfast buffet. Good value.

Average stay

Average stay at the Hotel Continental in Lourdes. Reported to the front desk, the necessary action will be taken by the maintenance department.
Several inconveniences, door opening, significant squeaking, it's not discreet.
A spider web hanging in the room.
Neglected cleaning of the carpet.
The bathroom grout is black and unmaintained.
The sink drain stopper doesn't lift because the opening/closing mechanism is missing and unmaintained.
Regarding the room, very comfortable bed.
No air conditioning but a fan.
Positive: the welcome, a pool table, a piano as entertainment.

Nice.

The staff is pleasant and professional. Dedicated to their service. It is just missing one tiny thing, like tea or coffee in the two rooms we occupied. It is a bit of a shame regarding the kettle that is present in the rooms. And also drinking water available as soon as you enter the hotel; it is essential, I think. But overall, our stay was good.

Good family hotel

Very nice family room for 3 people and another smaller one for 2 children with a terrace. Very nice hotel, very well located. Inaccessible by car between 01:30 AM and 09:00 AM, so no need to rent a parking space at the hotel because it is impossible to park there!!!

Damaged facilities.

The service from the receptionist Sheila was very pleasant, but the shower screen in the room was damaged, we had to use towels to stop the water that was leaking in large amounts, the room fan did not work, there was no air conditioning, we went in the summer, in addition to this there was no refrigerator in the room.
