Newly renovated rooms and excellent location.
My first time in Nice I couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. Warm and helpful front desk people, special thank you to Yannick and Rebecca. Thank you !
I was lucky to be at this hotel right after their rooms were remodeled - everything is brand new spick and span Bathroom has huge rain shower head and Clarins products !
The room has big safe that held all my valuables including lap top. Was easy to operate too. Robes and sleepers provided. Plenty of charging stations and next to each side of the bed. Loved bed’s headboard. At night when lights are off and you need to turn them back on, there are night lights around switches, so useful ! Electric tea kettle, coffee machine. Pretty blue glasses for water and tea/ coffee cups. Loved the rug around the bed, it felt nice to walk around on it bare feet.
Another plus side is LOCATION ! Centrally located and easy walk everywhere from the hotel. 500 m is a very nice Monoprix market with everything you need, old town, promenade by the sea, shopping, everything is at your doorstep.
I highly recommend this hotel.

Good central Hotel near Beach and Old Town
Stayed here for 4 nights. Room was on 3rd floor overlooking street, front of hotel. Room had Juliet balcony and was nicely decorated. Bathroom had its flaws e.g. water running out of shower control, small flush button didn’t work on Toilet, thankfully large button did. Overall room was good and had everything you needed. If being picky its was annoying having hairdryer in bathroom which had a button you had to continually hold down or it stopped working. Not great for women with long hair! TV also lost signal alot. I enjoyed my stay as the hotel as it was excellently positioned for the beach promenade and visiting Old Town and Marina. My only complaint would be the noise during the night from the street level below from the street cleaners and garbage collectors. It went on every night for a while and we didn’t sleep much because of this. Was a shame as I would have considered this hotel in the future with its excellent location. The hotel has not much facilities but what you need from a city hotel, e.g. breakfast room, bar, reception area. Access to beach restaurant and sunbathing area on beach (for an additional cost). If windows were more sound proof i would stay here again. Staff were friendly and helpful. Even delivered our luggage to our room from baggage holding area when our room was ready and we were out sightseeing. Nice touch.

Beautiful property. Service underwhelming.
This stay did not meet our expectations.
The property is beautiful and the location is unmatched. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end.
First, we arrived around 14:15. At the door, the bellman insisted on us giving him our luggage even though we tried not to. He assured us he would take the bags straight up to our room. At the reception desk, we were told our room was not ready (not a problem or surprising, but why we wanted to keep our bags as we needed items out of them). We got our bags and items back and then left them with the bellman.
The bags were later brought to our room after it was ready but one of our bags was missing. Luckily it was quickly located and brought to the room.
We had breakfast included with our stay. On our first day, we were seated for breakfast and a coffee order was taken. There was then no explanation of how the breakfast worked. We waited for over 15 minutes, trying multiple times to flag down a server. They finally explained we could use the buffet as well as order eggs from the menu but promptly walked away. Someone returned about 20 minutes later to ask if we’d like to order anything. At this point, it had already been so long that we decided not to order anything as we had eaten from the buffet.
We spent the day out of the hotel and returned after 1500. Our room had not been serviced. We also had a lakefront room and wanted to sit on the balcony. I messaged the hotel via WhatsApp to ask if our room would be serviced and also for assistance with the retractable awning on the balcony. The only response I received was asking my room number which I provided. They then did not respond at all.
The lights/electricity in the room are very complicated. I see this now from many other reviews but the lights can only be turned off a certain way if you want the AC to stay on. Even when following the instructions provided by the hotel staff, all of the lights would not turn off and one night our AC did not work at all.
Overall, the physical property is beautiful but the service leaves much to be desired,
particularly for an alleged 5 star hotel.

When arriving the room we checked into wasn’t cleaned fully. Bed sheets were soiled but the rest of the room seemed to have been reset. Staff at reception were helpful in checking us into another room as an upgrade (larger room).
AC was very poor in the room so it was quite hot for the duration of the stay.
Location of the hotel was perfect and we spent very little time in the hotel itself over the course of the TDFF weekend.

Total rip off
The room we were shown to on arrival was falling apart. We were offered two other rooms that were double although we had booked a twin. the hotel images are very deceptive and indicate that the beach club is part of the package not 70 Euros per day extra. On two of four nights the room had not been made up. The hotel is not what you expect from the images and marketing. It ruined our holiday.
