Typical and modern at the same time

Very nice hotel, neat decor, very nice heated infinity pool in May
Staff with great care and with lots of sympathy and smiles.
Affiliated with the restaurant you received a quick reservation.
Classic breakfast considering the price (16€) lacks scrambled eggs which are an extra.

Although the room was small it was clean and came with a fridge and safe. Nice pool area but no poolside service. The views are nothing special as there is restaurations going on in the harbor. Easy walk to the marina and old town (deep). Friendly staff!

Avoid at all costs

To give an opinion, you must first look at the price that was paid. Because you have to know that this establishment has a very particular pricing policy. By going through booking platform sites, we paid €315 a night while at the same time during our stay at the hotel, it showed the room price at €170! The reservations manager will explain to you that you had the nicest and largest of the rooms, the one located at the top of the old wooden staircase, which is creaky and covered in its period carpet. And then after all, she will remind you that the hotel is within its rights and that it was up to you not to go through a booking platform, since their commission is so huge. She also always has an explanation for everything if you read the various reviews. So if you paid €170, the hotel is decent, nothing more. Although it is on the edge of a very busy road, its location is interesting near the port of Porto-Vecchio. The citadel is much more strenuous to access but there are buses nearby. One part of the hotel seems newer than the other. If you paid €315, you are far from the expected standards, even the second week of August in Porto-Vecchio. The hotel's environment is rather ugly, the pool area is pleasant until you approach the edge of the infinity pool, which overlooks the road, and the breakfast area is worthy of a roadside snack bar: cleanliness of the terrace, leaving something to be desired, tables not set, very basic breakfast for €16. As for the room, after the snack, it’s the motel! Clean, relatively spacious, but not very accessible and, above all, soulless with decor that is at best outdated, if not nonexistent, and vintage air conditioning. Nice hotel at great location

Conveniently located close to the city centre and the port, this small hotel's main benefits are a nice swimming pool and an excellent breakfast. The rooms are of a decent size with a balcony and a bath in the en-suite bathroom. Staff are very friendly and helpful. A good choice for Porto Vecchio!
