Paradise is not far

3 nights spent with family has 4 in this little corner of paradise.
Here everything is quiet, simple.
The home is simple and warm, the setting exceptional, the view of the golf of Saint Florent exceptional.
What more can be said except that the rooms and exteriors are beautiful, the breakfast great.
A list of nearby restaurants is available to easily find your happiness.
Gite 20 min from Saint Florent and 40 from Casta (starting point 4*4 for the agriates desert).
Unbeatable value for money in the area.
We will come back for sure

A Corsican Dream

This is an exceptionally beautiful house in a stunning location that provides arguably the best poolside view in Corsica.
My room was furnished and detailed impeccably, the host is charming and offers a genuine welcome, the breakfasts impossible to fault.
Such fantastic value making this year's trip to the island unforgettable.

Relaxing stay in a beautiful old house

We stayed at Casa Ghjunca for a week in June and had a lovely time. It is an old house renovated to a very high standard - our Jacuzzi bath was a particular highlight. The rooms are large, spotlessly clean and full of vintage furniture, with the style being modern with a timeless quality, and lovely views across the hills to the sea. There is also very good air conditioning and Wi-Fi. Our host, Janick was very friendly and welcoming - the language barrier (we don't speak French) wasn't an issue, with a lot of pointing and recognising the odd word we got on fine. The breakfasts were a beautiful spread of croissants, bread, fruit, homemade yoghurt, local fig jams, etc. Janick also baked an apple cake for another couple's wedding anniversary, and on another day she made an omelette with brocciu and mint leaves (a local speciality). The house is set in a lovely quiet village in the mountains - if you like to be 'away from it all' like us then this was perfect, however avoid if you like nightlife and/or don't like windy single track mountain roads. It's only about a 20 min drive to the beach and St Florent, a beautiful small town by the sea. Altogether this place vastly exceeded our expectations, and we can't wait to go back.

Lovely house in rural Corsica

After visiting Casa Ghjunca for a single day, we wished we could have stayed longer. The room in which we stayed, as well as the other accessable rooms, were decorated very romantically. Our room combined that with a lovely modern bathroom.
Rapale itself was very small and quiet, but if you want to visit the countryside for a couple of quiet days, this is the place to stay!
