VERY BAD, RUN AWAY FROM HERE

The food was satisfactory at best. But it took too long for the food to come. The service was really bad.
Kudos for providing great entertainment with their live music, as that was the only good thing about the place.
Would not recommend this place to anyone. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!
It takes hours for the food to come

Not worth the price

The location of Hotel Posta cannot be faulted, and its on-site pool and sauna (when functional) are lovely.
However, for the price you're paying, you really aren't getting much bang for your buck. Breakfast is repetitive, the rooms, while spacious, lack the amenities you'd expect in a hotel at this price point (soft toilet paper, a working fridge, smart TV, etc.), and the on-site restaurant is roadside restaurant standard.
All told, it's an unbeatable location, but you're paying Rooms prices for Motel 8 standard accommodation.

Good location, basic service

I agree with a lot of others on the 3* review. The location is great. The rooms are ok. The service is dreadful. Whilst I understand service levels in Georgia desire a lot, this hotel seems to take it to a different level.
Breakfast is spartan with little choice, the coffee machine may or may not work and a there may or may not be an attendant in track pants who may or may not be available. Breakfast plates are the same size as coffee saucers, food is not checked or replenished from the moment it is put out at 6.30 or so (well, if you get unwell it is your problem) and don't you dare asking for something.
Our bathroom had live exposed wires running to the mirror - so attend at your own risk

I hope one day they work out how to run this place well!

We decided to eat in the restaurant solely based on the fact someone had told us there was folk music on the 4th (roof) floor. (We were desperate to find some live folk music in Mestia.) Sure enough, there was music and it was great. However the food was very slow to arrive, the chicken really tough and the chips overdone -which could have been overlooked if it wasn't the most we had paid for a meal anywhere in Georgia! So my advice would be eat down the road in Cafe Laila and then pop to the roof two doors down for a beer or wine - but only if there is live music. I hope Hotel Posta gets it's act together somehow although it is a strangely glitzy place in contrast to the rest of delightfully rustic Mestia!
