Excellent service

I felt really super cared for at the Hotel Blaue Ecke. The room was cozy and clean. Everyone in the team was totally friendly and helpful – you can just tell that service is a top priority here. There is enough parking and even a charging facility for my electric car – for me a plus! I definitely like to come back.

Noisy from hotel restaurant

No A/C in the room, so had to open the windows to keep cool. Which would have been fine, except that the hotel restaurant directly below was playing loud music well past closing (until nearly midnight). Couldn't get a wink of sleep. Would not recommend.

Great hotel, terrible service

Rooms are fine. Breakfast is more than fine. But the service is terrible. One is rude. At 2100 hours you are asked not to sit in the pub anymore. Final round at 2200 hours. This while the cafe would be open until 2300.
Pretty downer on our family weekend.

Really enjoyable stay, but stay away on Monday.

As in the heading, we enjoyed our stay, but don't come here Monday as there is no restaurant or bar open, there's a place across the road called Aviano's which is very popular and in direct competition with the Blaue Ecke, which also closes on Monday, being July and the peak of the season anyone with any business acumen would pick up on this and at least open the bar to get people in. Don't get me wrong, I will come here again, but definitely not on a Monday.

Great location

Have stayed at this hotel before, but this time we booked a bit late and got a room at the guesthouse, not the hotel itself.
The room was as expected for a guesthouse, kind of old, but basic and clean. The bed was a nightmare, been traveling a lot and this is the worst we have ever slept in, hardly got any sleep.
Nive town and close to Nürburgring.
