lovely, family run hotel

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights while exploring the area. We had a lovely big room, with a balcony and a small separate lounge area with TV. We couldn't fault it in any way - the couple who run it were really helpful. You can help yourself to free tea and coffee all day. The lady will cook evening meals if you order in advance, and we did this twice. We had 2 excellent meals, very reasonably priced. The hotel was spotless and breakfast had lots of choice. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area. Very good value for money.

Clean and comfortable

We stayed at the Hotel Holzhauer while visiting friends in the area. The hotel is a little difficult to find if you aren't familiar with the area, parking is actually in the rear of the building. A young couple own it and live there with their children. It is very quiet and comfortable. We weren't there much, just to sleep and shower and did not eat breakfast there since it was an additional charge and our friends lived within walking distance. We actually stayed 2 nights and then came back for 2 more so we had different rooms each time. The wifi would not work in the first room (I think it was 12), I had to go into the hallway to connect. It worked fine in the second room (5?). Overall it was a pleasant place to stay, although I think it was a little high priced compared to some of the other hotels we have stayed at in Bad Wildungen.

Een grote verrrassing

We boekten dit hotel de avond van tevoren voor 2 nachten voor 4 personen. De ontvangst was hartelijk, we kregen erg mooie en schonen kamers. Uitleg over de streek en alles ook. Het ontbijt, dat 5€ kost, is geweldig. Wil je een eitje? Hoe wil je je eitje? Kannetje koffie wordt gebracht.... Vers fruit. Yoghurt, mooie lekkere broodjes. Wij zijn zeer tevreden over deze accommodatie. De omgeving is erg mooi. Een echte aanrader!

"Gemütliches kleines Hotel"

Vielen Dank für eine wunderschöne Urlaubswoche im kleinen, feinen und gemütlichen Hotel Holzhauer. Das Frühstück und die Halbpension waren liebevoll, sehr reichlich und abwechslungsreich. Alles war lecker und Ideenreich zubereitet. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Der Service ist ausgezeichnet. Die ganze Atmosphäre des Hotels war freundlich und ist wärmstens zu empfehlen.

Familienhotel mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis

Unsere Gruppe von 8 Personen wurde von Familie Holzhauer ausgesprochen herzlich empfangen. Die Zimmerausstattung und die prima eingerichteten Bäder - alles sehr sauber - haben uns beeindruckt. Man ist auf spezielle Wünsche jedes Einzelnen eingegangen. Es liegt viel Informationsmaterial bereit. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt.
