It is a good value for what you pay. No frills but everything you really need. Clean beds, clean showers, clean bathrooms. And it is in a great location. Just make sure you have your booking number correct so you can do your automatic check-in after that it’s a snap you get a code for your entry and for your room and it works really slick.

Located in a very beautiful beergarden. The room was clean. The shared shower could use some maintenance.

AGGRESSIVE RECEPTION

We made a 4-day Reservation in this hostel in Berlin, we were coming from a long bus trip, and we arrived at the place around 12pm. We knew through the email that check-in was only from 15:00 but eventually we arrived a little sooner or later at the lodging. But as soon as we arrived there was a man, drunk / drugged, then I discovered that it was the manager of the hostel (Mirko), at the door and began to scream with us and expelled us from the place saying that we could only stay in those immediate areas from 15:00 because it was the check-in time, we cleaned our bags and we would like at least one place to leave them until the check-in time, this man (Mirko) expelled us from the place not even leaving us to get to the reception. The next day we discovered that there was a receptionist and a receptionist, including we saw a large group at 11 a.m. and accommodating them. I explained the situation to this girl who told me not to know this man and who was definitely not part of the team, but we insisted on saying that he was all the time inside the hostel. She even said that if it was of interest she would look at the security cameras, the same denied because I believe that I knew who it was and that this was recurring. Later that same day I saw such a man and I asked an employee who he was and what his name was and then they told me that it was Mirko the manager of the Hostel.
I would like to know why there is differentiation in treating hosts this way.

No issues

My brother’s first ever hostel stay and he was fine. Checkin was via a box outside, we never saw a person working there the whole time!
Room was good, twin room, really comfy beds.
Showers were only one temp with a press button start which ran for about 20 seconds a time! Sure to have a quick shower!
Location was great, underground stop right out the front, 2 stops from a central station. Natural History museum just around the corner.
No social aspect and seeing no staff meant we couldn’t leave our bags on our last day.

Have had an amazing stay - perfect location, super friendly staff, comfortable and very clean environment.
