We had a lovely stay at this hotel with 2 teenagers. They appreciated the spa and comfortable beds. Hotel was very tidy and well kept. Location perfect. Staff was very nice and attentive and all of our requests were responded quickly and kindly.
Only negative thing was that one of two saunas was supposed to be a Finnish sauna but had no stove, so definitely not a Finnish sauna 😅

Don’t waste your money go elsewhere
AVOID Room 648
the room is basic filthy and a ridiculous shower hose attached to the middle of the joke of a bath that doesn’t even stretch to the shower bracket so you can’t have a shower and instead you have to stand in the bath wash yourself and then use the hose to rinse yourself absolutely ridiculous the towels are threadbare and hard and definitely NOT bath towels !
This hotel used to be the Kempinski and was classy
now it’s basically a holiday Inn only dirtier

Hotel?????
I have, in connection with my work, stayed in many different types of hotels and hostels.
Bristol Berlin is the only place where money has been withdrawn from my credit card after I got home.
During our stay we were offered a refund in the price which we said thanks for.
On the way home we paid our bill, minus the discount. The day after our return the hotel will charge extra money on my card.
I contact them, their explanation is that the employee who offered me a discount was not allowed to come up with such an offer.
This incident lies somewhat back in time but after a brief visit to the hotel here on May 7, I can see they still have no control of their things.
I have been refunded my money by booking.com so this post is not about the hotel owing me money. Just to be seen as a warning. I find it rejectable to first offer a discount and then withdraw money on a customer’s credit card without permission.
There are many lovely hotels in Berlin choose one of them instead of Bristol.

Excellent hotel & exceptional Staff
Excellent service accommodating happy greeting helpful attentive. Positive Staff.
Thankyou very much from the porter Hassan & reception & my servers Farah greeting me at breakfast & Lillie who went out of her way to get me a hot matcha, I desperately needed which is my go to drink.
The house keeping was excellent immaculately clean.
I highly recommend

Top in all areas!!
I stayed in this hotel for three nights in room 648; the entire staff was always very friendly and accommodating. The room seems spacious and is freshly renovated. In my opinion, the ideal mix between modernity and the charm of the hotel was achieved. Furthermore, it was noticeable that the building is very well insulated, which is why it was always quiet in the rooms despite the very central location. Although parts of the hotel are currently being renovated, the construction work was at no time bothersome. It is also positive to note here that an attempt is always being made to continue developing. It was a bit of a shame that there was no restaurant in the hotel during our stay.
The breakfast was very delicious and well-selected. Nevertheless, I would say that it is not extraordinary in its scope, which is not a bad thing, however, because the individual components and ingredients are of top quality.
The location of the hotel is, as already mentioned, very central, but one should be aware that the nearest subway (line U1) runs only to a very limited extent, which is why one should be prepared to transfer.
