I stayed for a mid-week for DMEA 2026 in the Messe, my dog accompanied me. The room on the 6th floor was somewhat "petite" but functional with a working kitchenette (microwave/grill only, no stove, and a fridge with no freezer compartment but otherwise okay). The room had a lot of daylight, which was nice. The area around Charlottenburg is wonderful. The Nextbike rental bike solution was brilliant. All in all, great value for money, I'd come back here.

The staff were very helpful and kind. The entry system with key fob was well explained. The room as clean enough but the bathroom in particular needed more work. Our shower drain was very very slow, something which should have been picked up when it was being cleaned so it makes you wonder. Staff was good at repairing it the same day. The elevator was not working which was a disappointment. The smell of marijuana being smoked did not create the best atmosphere either.
All this aside it was basically adequate for the purposes. Beds were clean, heating worked and it was the perfect location for our need. It is a hostel like format afterall, we did not expect too much more.

Apartment to renovate

The accommodation we were assigned on the first floor was very old.
Not suitable for 4 people. The bed was placed on a brick structure in a very narrow room.
The super small bathroom with a very high and very uncomfortable toilet and sink.
The car park does not have marked spaces and is therefore easily occupied by those who park badly.
The apartment is clean and check-in is convenient with a code system, useful for those who do not have a precise arrival time.

It´s a simple but nice and clean overnight accommodation, very good and centrally located in a beautiful part of Berlin. Pubs and restaurants are within walking distance.
