Clean budget accommodation. Large, warm rooms. Close to centre.
Very nice, clean rooms. Effective heating. No hassle check-in and check-out. Coffee machine in the corridor. Free hot water. We stayed 4 nights for a conference in a nearby venue. Good restaurants in the vicinity: Steak houses, Acapulco (mexican food), Tia Maria (Italian food). Bakery around the corner. Lidl nearby.
· Water pressure in one of the bathrooms was very low - you could use the toilet but washing up and taking a shower was a long long journey.

It is a great stop over
Good:
The instructions for the late check-in were accurate and precise
It is close to the main bus stop
It is in a very good area of Berlin
The room was very big
The beds are comfortable
The shared bathrooms are clean
It has nice restaurants around
The area has little noise
To improve:
The rooms are cleaned with vinegar and the smell is strong
The office is not open often and sometimes they do not answer the phone

BEDBUGS
Stayed for two nights, room was filled with bedbugs. My arms and legs were covered with bites, especially me hands and feet, even a few on my face. First night I thought the open windows somehow drew in tons of mosquitos. Second night with closed windows, repeat of first night bites. Turned over the mattress and found more bedbugs than I have ever seen, and big ones. This was not a recent infestation, these were large. Also, there was a hidden behind a door 1970-1980s micro-refrigerator that was making the room unbearably hot. It was more of a heater than a fridge. The temperature inside was room temperature, while the outside was hot to the touch. It took a day to figure out why no matter how long we opened the windows it just wasn't cooling down and had to unplug the thing. Lastly, the wifi was simply atrocious. It would work poorly for a few minutes and then cut out for an hour before working poorly again for a few minutes and repeating this process.
I would strongly discourage anyone from ever staying at Pensioner Reiter. It's abysmal.

Strange service
Very strange service (stay in hostel room). First, you come to the address that is listed on your reservation, but you are sent to another address to live (in my case, Karl Marx 65a). It’s good that we didn’t have any baggage, but considering the fact that the check in was only after 2:00 pm, we were hoping to rest and not to go yet. Secondly, the room did not have a hairdryer, wrote a letter to the reception, to which they replied, come and take (you need to go back). The rooms are quite simple, the bed is not comfortable (too soft mattress). Of the benefits - next to the metro, not far East Side Gallery, and the railway station Berlin Ostbahnhof where you can get to Berlin Schönefeld Airport.

Good quiet place, but wifi is ultra slow and sometimes it even do no exist.
It's in a quiet place short distance from Alexanderplatz 5 min from Edeka store . Only one bathroom for 4 rooms , Wifi it's almost inexistent thus you will have to buy a card with internet data cleaning was done once in 2 days.
