Exceptional

​Short stay, lasting impression!
Anyone looking for a place with an exceptionally warm atmosphere is exactly right at the Schlichte Hof. After just one night, it is clear to me: Hospitality is truly lived here.
Rooms: Well-maintained, very clean, and decorated with a lot of love.
Highlights: Great details like coffee, water, a sweet welcome, and fine toiletries in the room.
Culinary: A great breakfast that left nothing to be desired.
Since the Schlichte Hof is also known for its excellent cuisine, I am already looking forward to trying it next time. A big thank you to the entire team for creating this special place!

Culinary delight!

The Schlichte Hof team catered for us at our company event. Starting with delicious care packages for the day in Bielefeld and rounded off with a consistently first-class evening program. Our team was absolutely delighted! The menu selection, wine selection and the Schlichte Hof team were perfectly coordinated with each other and with us. We'd be happy to do it again at the next event in Bielefeld!

Bad service and disinterested staff.

We had booked this hotel and were looking forward to a good dinner in their restaurant followed by a good night's sleep.
When we were checking in, the staff seemed mostly annoyed that we were there and rather uninterested in helping us. When they were about to check us in, they said the restaurant was fully booked and we couldn't eat there. The nearest restaurant was quite a distance away. Then I said I will cancel the room and find another hotel. The staff looked almost happy when I said that and it felt like there was a silent F-O in the air.
Hope other guests are treated better because I will never try to stay here again.

Welcoming, warm and great value

Ok, the price is quite low so we did not really know what to expect when coming to this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome we got, even though the restaurant was filling up fast. The rooms are nice with a brand new bathroom. When my colleague and I asked to get a quiet place to sit and work together and have a beer, we later heard the beer was on the house. They also brought us potato chips :-) The food in the restaurant was great quality and the staff very friendly.

Ein Genuss - in jeder Hinsicht!

Im Schlichte Hof wird Gastlichkeit gel(i)ebt. Kulinarisch wurden wir auf höchstem Niveau verwöhnt.
Die Küche ist Extra-Klasse und zeichnet sich durch saisonale und regionale Spezialitäten aus. Auf höchstem Niveau werden alle Speisen frisch und mit höchster Kochkunst zubereitet. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und wertschätzend.
Die Zimmer sind wunderschön renoviert und laden zum Wohlfühlen ein.
Ein tolles Team hat uns in wunderbarer Atmosphäre unvergessliche Momente geschenkt. Herzlichen Dank!

Gastlichkeit ist für uns das A und O - und dazu zählt natürlich immer die Gesamtleistung des Teams in der Küche wie auch im Service. Schön, dass Ihnen auch unsere aufwändig renovierten Zimmer gefallen haben. Für ein Haus unserer Größe bedeutet das immer einen kleinen Kraftakt - es freut mich deshalb ganz besonders, wenn unsere Gäste dies auch entsprechend honorieren und genießen.
