Nice Hotel

Just come back from here and what a find, the owners can't do enough for you, great little hotel with spacious rooms which also has a drinks and food bar with beer garden, there are no drinks facilities in the rooms but that didn't bother me and i'm sure they would sort something out for you if asked, bus stop right outside and its only 7 mins to Porz Wahn town and train station then only 10 mins by train to get into the centre of Cologne.. nice hotel nice owners.. i would highly recommend..

Very nice

Lovely people run this hotel, really clean and comfortable.
Ate in the restaurant which was great home made burgers followed by cheesecake
Only downside is because it is small hotel it was difficult to get in when I arrived at 4pm and had to hang about.
The hotel arranged a taxi for 4:30am and it was a nice experience. Definitely would stop there again. Thanks

Overnight and a meal.

The room was clean and comfortable. Although, be aware that you will need to be able to navigate a couple flights of stairs. The room was surprisingly quiet. The restaurant downstairs had good food and drink. The hotel is but 5 minutes from the CGN airport — very convenient.

sehr laut und schlechter Service

Wir hatten uns für die günstige Lage zum Flughafen für dieses Hotel entschieden. Leider war an Schlaf nicht zu denken, da es extrem stickig, heiss und laut im Zimmer war. Die Mitarbeiterin versprach uns auf 4:30 Uhr ein Taxi zum Flughafen zu bestellen. Leider klappte dies ebenfalls nicht und wir mußten mitten in der Nacht improvisieren. Alles in Allem: nicht empfehlenswert.

Für jeden etwas dabei, ohne beliebig zu sein.

das Hotel haben wir nicht gebucht, aber die Fotos haben uns überzeugt. Wir haben lediglich köstlich gespeist. Das am Waldrand gelegene Hotel/Restaurant verfügt über einen schönen Biergarten, der in den Wald hineinreicht. Die Speisekarte ist recht vielfältig und bietet sicherlich für jeden etwas. Die Speisen sind köstlich zubereitet und optisch sehr appetitlich angerichtet. Der freundliche Service und die gepflegten Getränke runden das durchweg positive Bild ab.
