An insider tip on the Middle Rhine - we loved it!

We had booked the carnival escape and stayed 2 nights in this great hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating throughout. The sauna we also used and found this area very pleasant (bathrobes in the room). Special mention should be made of the cuisine. In the evening there were 3 courses, one course tastier than the other. To choose was a meat dish, a fish dish and something for the vegetarians. Add delicious Fetz wines and Fetz schnapps. Or a Fetz beer. At this point a big praise to the cook. He understands his trade. We definitely recommend visiting the wine shop. It's worth it. All in all, we loved it and will come back with friends.

Wild buffet event at Hotel Fetz!

Event Wildbuffet booked.
We had great expectations based on the reviews. Unfortunately, they were disappointed.
1. Guest room was nicely decorated.
2. The buffet was presented unkindly.
3. Sometimes food was unfortunately cold and there was not even the classic e.g. B."Deer."
4. The service was unfortunately not good.
Long wait, wrong drinks brought advice wine - rather not.
5. The cocktails .. at least our .. were more of a joke.
Conclusion: Lots of money paid for a rather satisfying event!

A beautiful hiking holiday

We stayed 1 week at Hotel Fetz, for hiking. We had two far-sighted rooms, with balcony and wonderful views. The floor of my room was not clean on the first day, but was then recleaned. In the room there was a wall cupboard with a door and shelves open next to it, which I didn't find so nice to constantly have to face my laundry. Overall, however, the room was pleasant. There was no air conditioning, but it was sufficiently cool even during the hot days. In the evening on the terrace we were served very friendly, the Service is very good and warm. Breakfast is fine, but what stands out, compared to the quality of dinner, is the bad bread and rolls. Even the small croissants at breakfast were not good. This hotel I can still highly recommend. We felt very comfortable. Wonderful landscapes for hiking, beautiful views from above of the Rhine.

Finally a modern and professionally run hotel on the Middle Rhine.

One of the few modern and professionally run hotels on the Middle Rhine. Clean, noisy rooms, friendly staff and very good food in the restaurant.
Very well located directly on the Rhine Trail. Therefore popular with hikers.
Also suitable for meetings.

Exceptional great place

We were walking with nine women and two dogs.
The staff was exceptional friendly and competent. The view off the terrace was wounderfull. The rooms were clean and spacious and comfortable. The Sauna was a treat. The food was excellent. We had a perfect stay.
