Good Place
Good breakfast, but sadly no elevator inside the premises so if you are an international traveller with loads of luggage then you have to do exercise.

Bright eyes or grey hair required.
However the shortfalls meant that we are unlikely to return. Our room was tired and the beds were worn out ( a disgrace really) mattresses stained and saggy. I understand that since we complained they have been replaced. We were not offered new mattresses or s change of room when we complained.
Breakfast was repetitive - a case of deja vu, all over again. On our first morning we had a 15 minute wait for frozen rolls to be baked and eggs to be boiled. Milk and yoghurt were not kept cool and the hams and cheeses were in small amounts such that it was a case of "you snooze - you lose".
One young lady did most of the work with a mobile phone clamped to her ear and on the mornings that she was on duty there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke drifting from the kitchen and into the breakfast room.
We contacted the hotel before arrival and were supplied with the kettle we had requested. Contact with the group manager after our departure was positive and encouraging.
However I feel that the hotel would benefit from an audit by an independent advisor or the input of a mature manager.

Extremely expensive if there's a trade show. Too far from city centre.
The hotel is situated in a very quiet suburb which is a decent taxi ride away from the city centre. I paid € 50 each way for a taxi. There is a small precinct to the suburb with a few restaurants and bars but to walk there is about 10mins and you need to go through a dodgy little underpass into a dark area under the motorway. I could imagine this being very intimidating for some people. Once there though, the area is quite nice!
The hotel is very simple but gives you most of the basics, ie. a single bed, a small desk and a shower and toilet. Free wifi is available throughout but it's incredibly slow and disconnects every so often. I eventually gave up and now have work to catch up on.
Other than the overflowing cigarette bin at the entrance of the hotel, it's spotlessly clean and everything is in good repair. It was obviously decorated and furnished to a strict budget so don't expect anything fancy!
Breakfast was OK. The usual rolls, ham, salami & cheese. Some fruit juice available but no tea or coffee. Also no staff around to ask for tea or coffee which was irritating.
