While we encountered several issues during our stay, (a fire evacuation after midnight our first night and problems with the air conditioner during a heat wave), I am giving the Tribe the highest rating because the staff worked hard to remedy everything. They responded quickly and efficiently to fix things. I like and respect that the hotel doesn't skimp on front desk help - so many places have one person doing everything - not the Tribe, several people staffing the front desk and restaurant. Hotel was in a good location, clean, had a nice vibe, and the breakfast was delicious with lots of excellent choices. Gym was clean with new equipment and the dining area was very nice with greenery and peaceful spaces, all for a reasonable price. I would highly recommend the Tribe.

I loved the décor, comfortable bed, fabulous shower and extra nice shampoo and cream. The welcome from the staff was absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond to help me. I am extremely grateful!

Wow... this hotel is stellar for the rate. Everything from their rooms, gym, breakfast, staff, etc. was far beyond my expectations.

Lovely stay, would visit again

A good location for exploring Düsseldorf, very near the central station and walking distance to Little Tokyo and the old town.
Staff were friendly, welcoming and really helpful, and spoke excellent English which was a great help to us.
Breakfast was good - cold meat, cheese, pancakes, eggs, bacon etc. Something I noticed in the hotel and in cafes was that when I asked for tea I was often given Earl Grey - you need to specify English Breakfast etc - not a bother at all but took me a couple of goes to realise!
We stayed in a Tribe Extra room, which was great for two - clean and fresh. A compact but well designed bathroom, and a few nooks and crannies for storing luggage. The only place for storing clothes is an open clothes rail, however we were only here for a few days so it was fine for us. There is no fridge in the room.
We looked out onto the Main Street and had no issues with noise.
We had some trouble with our AC (the weather was lovely but the room was reaching 25 degrees overnight), staff managed to bring the temperature down a little but it would have been nice to have it cooler.

Overpriced / If I have to take the hair dryer out of the bathroom to make the room bit habitable

The location is central, so far so good.
The rooms are small but acceptable for one night.
Absolute no-go: The room temperature can only be regulated from 15-21°C. In winter you might want it a little warmer. Then you only have the hairdryer from the bathroom or you can borrow a heater at the reception.
Absolute no-go: I want to revise some 3D CAD drawings in the evening. So I want to connect my laptop to the big TV on the wall with an HDMI cable. You can't get to the HDMI jacks on the TV. No connection possible via Bluetooth. A connection would only be possible via this "Chromecast". But nowhere a description of which of my data then goes where and how over which networks, whether these are transmitted encrypted, whether there could be anyone else accessing them etc....
So I let it stay..... and that's called "business hotel"???
Sorry but at this price I would have expected a lot more
