One thing first, rarely experiences such a good New Year's Eve celebration! And we've been doing this for 30 years!
Rooms, staff, food, cleanliness are a unique class here! It all fits together! A huge compliment to the whole team of Waldhotel Eisenberg!
We will definitely come back!

Worst possible check-in experience
The room itself was also disappointing. The rooms are noisy, with a washing machine running on the first floor. There is no air conditioning, which absolutely should have been disclosed in the hotel description—especially during a severe heatwave in the region.
To make matters worse, the windows have no mosquito screens, so keeping them open in the evening is hardly an option.
Overall, this was a terrible hotel choice and an extremely frustrating experience from start to finish. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

Groups preferred - menu very limited
Shelter spaces in the shelter for motorcycles limited (about 10 places). When larger groups come, it quickly becomes tight with parking off the road.
The main drawback, however, was that the extensive menu published on the hotel's homepage was condensed into a few dishes and thus offered very few choices for 7 days. The larger groups had booked half board and that was the focus. However, this was not communicated in advance when booking, but only on request after arrival. Thus, in the evening, there was always a 15-minute walk per route to the restaurants located in the city center. Against this background, our choice would have been another house where we could have ordered with "only" 2 people from a complete map...

Wheelie good
Rooms are basis but fully functional; shower is exceptional, the single bed less so.
Restaurant is great; plentiful portions, well executed.
Worth a stay if you're on two wheels and in the area. They even do bike hire and organised tours.
