Lucky find

We almost drove past, but it looked so welcoming we pulled in. Great coffee, great food and the owner is a lovely friendly man. Delightful stop on a long drive. We ate on the sheltered garden terrace and enjoyed every bite.

Great stay bei der Peter

Peter is owner and chef and we gave been going there for years now. We go there for fishing for trout in rhe Lenne but it is also a good spot for cyclists and bikers. The rooms are very good and so is the food. The favourite dish is the grillplatte. We are always welcomed as old friends. Service is friendly and drinks are noted on your bierviltje (the carton under your drink).

Hotel with outstanding quality/price ratio

Years ago that I paid such a small amount for such a good room offer in a small villeage : spacious room, nicely decorated and full equiped. A well managed family hotel. Breakfast was OK, parking easy.

Superb

The meal was superb - I had a steak dish with pear and stilton and it was my favourite meal of our week stay in Germany - tucked away 'In the Corner' which I understand is the translation of 'Im stillen Winkel'. - Taken here by German 'family' ate in the restaurant but I think would have prefered to have eaten in the main bar more atmosphere. Presentation and quality of meal was just excellent.
