Location just perfectly located in old town close to the funicular going up to the castle and top of the mountain with spectacular view.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Perfect location, walking distance to all attractions.
The hotel has its own gates parking structure.
Breakfast was great, with a nice selection of food.
The front desk staff was very helpful, suggesting and arranging dinner reservations.
We highly recommend this hotel

Excellent location, best that I have found. Rooms and excellent, this is a must stay. Staff were very friendly and gave great suggestions for landmarks and restaurants.

ArtHotel Heidelberg is the ideal Heidelberg hotel

ArtHotel Heidelberg gets everything right. The location is unbeatable — steps from the Hauptstrasse and Old Town, yet the hotel itself feels like a world apart. What makes it especially charming is how the modern, beautifully designed rooms are woven into a historic building. You get the best of both worlds: old Heidelberg character with contemporary comfort.
The rooms are quiet, immaculate, and thoughtfully appointed. The bathroom in particular was a cut above what you'd expect at this price point. Speaking of price — compared to other hotels of similar or lesser quality in the area, ArtHotel Heidelberg is genuinely good value. The staff made it even better: helpful, warm, and attentive without being intrusive.
If you're visiting Heidelberg, look no further.

Good location near the castle and uni, yet far enough away from the main streets. Clean and quiet.
