I stumbled across this as I was looking for a quick overnight stay on a road trip...and it was a great find. Very clean, great staff, comfortable, and in a quiet residential area with an added bonus of a great breakfast.

The white wine was good!

Had fried herring. It must have been in the pan for several hours. Absolutely dry! Neighbor had ordered mineral water and received a glass of water!
My wife had mushroom pan (from a jar) under a giant mountain of scrambled eggs. Just great.

We’re allowed to book in early. The room was very good we had an excellent evening meal and the breakfast was good staff were very good also

Never ever again! Bucket goods from the factory

I haven't been served as badly as I was here for a long time.
All of the food on offer had nothing to do with traditional cooking, but tasted like it came straight out of a sack or bucket.
There was a noticeably unpleasant smell of cooking in the entrance area and the service consisted of young ladies who sometimes work in the Meierhof for a few hours as part of a comprehensive training course. Nice and friendly, but really clueless.
But yes, the place was packed. The customers obviously like it that way... I don't!

Family dinner

I went there with my parents and my husband for a delicious meal after 2 years. The staff were very friendly. The menu wasn't too big, but there was something for every taste. The food was very tasty. You can take food away. There is a fee for packaging, but that's fine with me. You can pay by card, including tipping by card.
