Modern quality hotel, perfect for us mid-30s with dog
We originally booked three nights at The Breeze and just to anticipate it: We liked it so much that we spontaneously extended another night.
We are a married couple in their mid-30s with a young dog and had asked for a quiet room in advance. When we arrived we then got an upgrade to a not only super quiet but also larger room with partial sea views and felt extremely comfortable from the first moment. It was exceptionally quiet, you didn't hear neighbors or sounds from outside, which we unfortunately know quite differently from many other hotels and which was a huge plus for us.
Since the hotel was priced at the upper limit for us, we arrived with correspondingly high expectations. It was all the more beautiful that these were not only met, but even exceeded:
The whole hotel is modern but warm and welcoming, not overly trendy, but really high quality and stylish. You can see in many places that attention is paid to details, from Toni Gard products in the room to L:A bruket products at leisure in the spa. And yes, even the toilet paper and paper towels in the restaurant were so high quality that we had to smile for a moment. Sounds incidental, but in the end it makes all the difference.
The spa area was fantastic. We each treated ourselves to two treatments and would particularly like to highlight Lucy's work, which was incredibly professional and at the same time very warm and approachable. We are already looking forward to coming back and enjoying their massages again.
Even organizationally everything went very relaxed, we never had to wait long, neither at the reception nor in the spa or in the morning over coffee. In general, the entire staff was extremely friendly and strikingly dog-loving, from the cleaning team to the reception to the service in the restaurant, the coffee shop and of course also in the dog shop. Everything seemed very familiar, helpful and pleasantly unobtrusive, just the right balance for us rather reserved northern Germans.
Breakfast was also a highlight. Incredibly delicious, high-quality and diverse, there is also a wide selection for vegetarians and vegans. We particularly liked the quality of the coffee, the North German cheese selection, the blueberry porridge as well as the crispy bacon and the Eggs Benedict. The 30€ per person is justified in our opinion, as you pay at least as much for a comparable breakfast with us in the city. What we also found very pleasant: Even at peak times it was never unpleasantly loud. Of course there were also children and many dogs, but that was exactly why we chose this hotel, and we not only felt tolerated, but really welcome.
The area is beautiful and perfect for long walks, with a well-kept beach and beautiful promenades in and around Ahlbeck and Heringsdorf.
Three small points that should be mentioned for the sake of completeness: In the spa area, the fireplace and fire in the relaxation zone unfortunately did not work during our entire stay, which would certainly have made the atmosphere even cozier. In addition, our room was probably overlooked by the extension on the last full day and not cleaned. We then got fresh towels and new water, but it has the otherwise consistently perfect experience minimally clouded. And the parking garage we found a bit overpriced at 25 € per day, which is why we have switched to an alternative nearby.
On balance, however, we are absolutely thrilled and look forward to coming back very soon!

Perfect time out with ocean noise
We had a very successful stay at this hotel on the Baltic Sea. Check-in and check-out can be done conveniently online, so you don't waste any time. The team is really friendly and you felt in good hands on arrival. The lobby with fireplace is really super cozy. You can end the evening here with a cocktail.:)
Furthermore, the rooms are very tastefully decorated, extremely clean - and this even though dogs are allowed. In the whole hotel we did not perceive this negatively at all - quite the contrary. The various hotel areas are very well maintained and invite you to linger.
Of particular note is the location to the sea, the view and the fresh Baltic Sea air immediately ensure deceleration.
The breakfast and the culinary offer there really leaves nothing to be desired - the selection is huge and of very high quality.
There is also a spa area, which also leaves nothing to be desired. However, from a certain time the swimming pool turned into a fun bath for children and also taking very young children (under 10 years) to the sauna has taken away the relaxation in some moments.
Overall, however, we felt very comfortable - perfect for an extended weekend to unwind. We would definitely come back!

New Year's Eve on Usedom
We stayed with the family over New Year's Eve at The Breeze. The hotel is very nice from the design and of course mint condition. We had a room with fireplace and sauna, which was great if you wanted to escape the crowds at the SPA. As it was over New Year's Eve, the hotel was very crowded, but what was foreseeable.
The breakfast was rich and the waiters very attentive. The spa and pool area was very nicely designed and the child-free time could be used well to swim in peace. It was a pity here that we always had to walk through the bar area and lobby in our bathrobe to get to the SPA. There was a changing room but the lockers unfortunately required a coin.
We had an evening at Braca Restaurant. Compared to breakfast, the waiters here were very inattentive. These only came to the table after a show of hands. The food was unfortunately not really good in taste, which is why it stayed at the one dinner. We experienced the same on the last evening at the bar, where we wanted to have a coffee. After a long wait without our drink wishes being taken up we went to the hotel shop independently to get a coffee.
Furthermore, it was a pity that there was no laundry service. You would expect that with a hotel of this price category. I was then advised that there is a laundry room for independent washing of clothes. At the price of having to wash my clothes myself I found disappointing.
What we were upset about on New Year's Eve was the sad program. There wasn't even live music. When asked why there was no such thing, it was stated that many guests would be on site for recreation and music would then disturb this. Sorry, but then you should stay on New Year's Eve if you can't do some music for an evening. It would certainly have been indoors. How would the guests have heard this in the rooms? For over 200€ p.P. we found this not justified and then made us in another hotel a nice evening with friends.
Overall, a nice, quiet and modern hotel but in some places does not set a clear line as it characterizes itself. Is it luxury now or does it want to be simple and chic without letting a 5-star hotel style hang out?
