A very clear Recommendation

Very delicious eaten - and in beautiful surroundings
Double plaice
For me fillet in egg shell and for my husband traditionally fried whole
The fried potatoes were also really good

Ideal hotel for short breaks

The hotel can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes from Klosters harbor. It is located at the beginning of the village of Grieben. The rooms are functionally furnished. The breakfast is in a class of its own. The older waitress is friendly and courteous and pays great attention to the buffet.

Kaffeezeit: Nix Gescheites im Restaurant

Wir waren auf der Terrasse sehr schön gesessen und hatten einen koffeinfreien Kaffe, der mit Pulver angerührt war, das noch auf der Oberfläche schwamm. Es löst sich eben schlecht im nur mäßig heißen Wasser. Der Kaffee mit Baileyes war mäßig stark, der Schuss mäßig spürbar, das ganze aber eh nur lauwarm. Zu essen gab es für Hiddensee obligatorisch Milchreis, der wohl in der Mikrowelle etwas angewärmt war: oben warm, aber unten noch kühlschrankkalt. Dafür wenig Zimt und Zucker.

Romantisches Hotel mit schönem Blick

Wir waren hier zu zweit und leider nur für 3 Tage. Das Hotel ist sehr schön und naturnah gelegen. Trotzdem sind es nach Kloster nur wenige Gehminuten zu Fuß. Wer das nicht will, leiht sich beim örtlichen Verleih ein Fahrrad. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und optisch ein Augenschmaus. Sehr nettes Personal. Leider bietet das Hotel wegen Personalknappheit keine Halbpension mehr an. Trotzdem kann man im hauseigenen Gasthaus gleich nebenan essen gehen. Als wir sonntags ankamen war das Gasthaus zu. Dafür hatte das Hotel zwei liebevoll zubereitete Suppen im Angebot. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und gemütlich, aber einfach. Das Hotel eignet sich für Naturliebhaber, die eine gewisse Abgeschiedenheit schätzen. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Hoffentlich bei besserem Wetter.
