Best Stay in Schwarzwald

Recently staying at Hotel Schwarzwaldhof in Hinterzarten, Black Forest, this hotel is a paradise for hikers! Excellent location, right next to the train station, close to the Black Forest Walk, you can walk to explore Ravenna Gorge or Panoramaweg.
The room is spacious and comfortable, the facilities are perfect, the hotel is very attentive to every detail, I see that they change flowers in the hallway every day, it is very thoughtful.
Breakfast is unbeatable, fresh bread, local spices, cheese, fruit and hot eggs should be full, the table will also put a briefing, reporting the day's weather, nearby attractions, tips for walking, etc., very careful; dinner is equally delicious, every night there is a distinctive four-course menu, the environment is comfortable and elegant, not only to appreciate every thought of their food, but also to appreciate every corner of the environment.
Overall, this is the best mountain option to travel to the Black Forest to make an impression. Highly recommended for friends who love nature and food, will come again next time.

Perfect Hotel in the Heart of the Black Forest.

This hotel was so perfect for my stay in the black forest! My room was so cute and comfortable, and the owners were so kind and nice! The location can’t be beat, right by the train station and next to the buses to take you to the Christmas market. I had a great breakfast here, but not so great experience dining at dinner the one night I was there. I’m not sure why the service was so off, it was a complete different experience at breakfast, which was so nice a friendly. I would still stay here again, and give the restaurant another try.

Great surprise.

Very friendly. As a solo traveler, one often gets single rooms that are rather small, but not in this hotel. Very spacious room and lovingly furnished. Very friendly reception. Would love to return.

The hotel is immediately located beyond the train station, and is central to shops and restaurants. From my room, I experienced beautiful views of the mountains and enjoyed natural light within the well maintained and nicely decorated room. Staff were incredibly kind and the restaurant served tasteful meals each night of my stay. I highly recommend Hotel Schwarzwaldhof Gutzweiler for anyone traveling to Hinterzarten and/or Ravenna Gorge. Also, it is only one train stop from Lake Titisee, making it a perfect spot for access, too.

Restaurant for fast hunger with surely better past

Nice old-fashioned restaurant, old-school older waiter, big menu, good wine list, food served lovelessly, The wrong food was delivered, after changing ingredients it was delivered again, no price accommodation, no discount whatsoever, unfortunately a disappointment !
