Top hotel

Top hotel in a prime location on the Seerhein, excellent rooms with great views of the Seerhein and even better all-round views of Constance from the roof terrace.
Best breakfast in town!

Trip with my brother!

Hotel rooms etc.. was okay and staff very friendly but restaurant way too expensive for what one got! Shameful really! Small portions of fish (36€) as a main course and there was no attachment to it???We asked for puree and that was not possible because it was not in the menu at the attachment while there were dishes with puree. Have also wanted to take 2 x chicken..the first time she was up and a few days later she was not there yet????Was the chef not there or did he not feel like it??!!!

Attention: modern hotel WITHOUT air conditioning

The ambiance is right, the breakfast is okay, the location is good for anyone who likes to get on a bike while on vacation. But for the rooms, it is no longer up to date that even in the superior category they have neither a minibar/refrigerator nor air conditioning. During the hot days in August, the only option was to run a ventilation system at high power and open a narrow window. That was supposed to bring cooling... Result: unbearable heat in the expensive rooms during the day, so that you could hardly use them. A mobile air conditioning unit was mentioned at the reception, but we did not see it during our five-day stay. Conclusion: 47 degrees figuratively means: not recommended in the summer.

Great hotel, great location. Also for cycling vacations

We, three couples, planned a week of cycling around Lake Constance. Since our partners hate changing hotels every day, we chose, on a friend's recommendation, Hotel 47 as our "base camp": spacious rooms, bike parking with electrical connections on the ground floor, and a hearty breakfast. (Preparing a picnic could be encouraged for a tourist audience). The hotel's location right on the bike path and by the water is ideal, no matter the direction planned for our rides (6 x 80 km in Switzerland, Germany, and Austria). The hotel restaurant is a bit pricey, but there are many more affordable restaurants in the immediate vicinity (or in the city center, 4 minutes by bike on the bike path). The hotel's plus is definitely the friendliness of the staff: always present, always smiling, and they have a sensible answer to all questions. A top address (for a top cycling vacation).

Beautiful hotel & beautiful location

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location.
Service was incredible & staff super friendly.
We were doing a charity European car rally & this hotel was very accommodating. Bravo Hotel 47.
