Great daily special

Review for the restaurant only!
We moved to the area and I stumbled upon the daily special offer on Facebook by chance. Days later, while driving by, I saw the sign again and thought, "I'm going there tonight."
Parking:
Well, it's kind of a thing... rather limited availability.
Restaurant:
Yes, it has seen better days. The beer garden, however, is really great. Nice old trees and reasonably cozy.
Service:
It seems the owner runs everything here, which does cause some wait times, and the espresso definitely comes from a Nespresso machine, but the rest was fine. Possibly only because there weren't 10 people there, though. It might get a bit wilder when more people are there. Whatever...
Food:
THAT was indeed really great. Taste-wise there was nothing to complain about, and the portion size was reasonable for the price of $9.80. I could have eaten more, but as I said, for under $10 you don't get an all-you-can-eat feast.
Conclusion:
I'll gladly come back.

Good Value

Visiting friends in a nearby village we stayed here for three nights. We found the rooms to be fairly clean and comfortable if a little dated. One of the rooms had been modernised on the last few years. The other needed an update. Beds were fine. One of the rooms had a faint smell of cigarette smoke.
Breakfast was ok but nothing special.
Staff were friendly

Super Restaurant

Wenn es etwas Rustikal und dennoch gut sein soll. Wir sind öfters in Deutschland und haben in der Sonne übernachtet. Der Fokus liegt hier im Restaurant, die Küche ist echt Top. Preisleistung unschlagbar.
Wir haben einige Feiern im Restaurant geführt und der neue Pächter ist jetzt der Koch, was dem Restaurant definitiv nicht geschadet hat! Super Ort zum Feiern und übernachten!

Ein schöner Abend im Hotel Sonne!

Gemütlicher Biergarten,sehr leckeres Essen (wir haben schon lange nicht mehr so gute Käsespätzle gegessen, der Salat war spitze) und eine sehr charmante und aufmerksame Bedienung. Wir sind total begeistert und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Staubfänger

Positiv: Sehr gutes Abendessen und freundliches Personal, geringe Preise
Negativ: Extrem Staubig und dreckig, Rauchgeruch, schmuddeliger Eindruck, Mehlmotten in allen Müsli.
Ein Besuch ist nicht wirklich zu empfehlen.
