Fantastic Hotel, Family run so very homely!

Very spacious, warm rooms. Well equipped and very good bathing facility. Restaurant is very good and for late nights there is a small shop in ground floor. Best place to while away with a beer! The family is amazing, friendly and very human.

I booked the room through Booking. There was obviously a change of ownership between my booking and my planned stay. Anyway, the new owners were not aware of my booking, is already incomprehensible, the claim that Booking cancelled my booking, I think is a lie, because then Booking would have informed me as well. The worst thing, however, was how the whole thing was handled by the owners. There is no reception. There's a phone number on the door. No one answered there. The second call was immediately busy and for hours. When someone was finally reached, the very unfriendly lady was in no way solution-oriented, let alone interested in a booking by me with appropriate payment. I should just book again, but the price she could not tell me and was also of the mistaken opinion that I might have to pay more than according to my booking. When I wasn't ready to do that, they just hung up.
I am in Lübeck more often, my best friend lives around the corner, but prefers a few meters more than this "breakout place" (O-tone of a guest I met outside the door, but who also mentioned that it was at least clean.).

Nice hotel and nice room

We stayed two nights here. Room was nice, free street parking outside, and OK breakfast. I could easily stay here again, but you have to be aware of the 30-40 minutes walk to central Lübeck. Good value for the price though!

Really ok

The hotel was modest but the rooms were quite big and really clean. The owner was friendly and helpful, we also liked the breakfast buffet. It's 3 km from the centre (just straight ahead down the street on which it is) so not really too far, and the price is considerably lower than most hotels in the center. All in all, a good choice when visiting Lübeck.

Ok but not great

This hotel is accessed through a food bar which was a bit off putting. The room was comfortable enough however the ceiling was very low and my husband couldn't walk on one side because he was too tall. The bathroom was Ok but not fabulous, the wifi was crap and kept dropping out. The breakfast was adequate but not fabulous. All in all a very average hotel
