Excellent Stay

As a lifetime Diamond member I have come to expect a certain level of standards with Hilton properties. This property met all my expectations. The staff was polite and both our rooms were upgraded to Junior suites with a view of the Rhine. We have family and friends in Mainz and this will be our go-to hotel from this point onwards. At Breakfast they had a nice spread which was great since each of us in our family have different tastes. Altstadt was walking distance away which was great. Thanks Mainz Hilton for making our stay memorable.

Loved the help we received at check-in. We wanted a room close to the lobby and it happened. Love the convenience of the parking garage and the breakfast is fabulous! We will go again!

Second building is disgusting

I would to say I never have provided feedback to a hotel but I had to bring this to your attention. First disappointment was crossing from one building to another and the carpet to the old building is absolutely disgusting. It looks like it has not been cleaned in years. Next problem was walking into my room and my bathroom floor was covered in some type of liquid. Gross and disgusting feeling to see that. Next tried to go to the gym or fitness room and the water dispenser looked like it had never had any water in there. Made the front desk aware that there is no water in the fitness area where there are multiple people working out, all of whom tried to drink water out of thr dry dispenser and a hour later the front desk has not sent anyone to fix the issue. I am a honor member and I have never stayed at a Hilton where I felt the need to send feedback. I am so disappointed.

A wonderful stay.

I had a very comfortable stay at this Hilton Mainz establishment. The staff was very attentive, providing a warm welcome upon my arrival, very friendly and professional. I was upgraded to a beautiful junior suite on the 6th floor with a magnificent view of the Rhine and the city. I had an excellent time enjoying snacks and drinks in the executive lounge. The meal in the restaurant was delicious. The breakfast was plentiful. I enjoyed drinks on the terrace with a magnificent view of the Rhine and the bridge.
Most importantly, I had a very easy late check-out and I rested well before continuing to my final destination: it pleased me.
A big thank you to Tamina, Ammar, and the entire hotel team.
I will return soon.

Good, but only somewhat sensible for very large conferences.

Unfortunately, the shortcomings become apparent at a large conference. Used glasses and cups are left around for too long. At a conference with 1,400 participants, a good lunch was organized; unfortunately, there was no cutlery for 20 minutes. What a pity.
