Business trip

The hotel is really nice and cozy. (As it was mentioned by owner: the smallest hotel in Minden). The rooms are big, cleaned regullary and the staff is friendly.
The hotel is not far away from Minden centre and it lets to reach shopping areas very fast.

Old, loveless and unkempt!

Attention! The hotel offers different rooms at a standard price. Our room (No. 22) had carpet and a small, ancient bathroom. The mattresses were saggy and there were about 30 dead flies in the ceiling light (bathroom). The breakfast was poorly prepared and of poor quality, but there was sparkling wine for breakfast and free water in the rooms.
If we hadn't been here with friends, we would have checked out straight after checking in.

Large rooms, friendly management, great breakfasts

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, and just wished it were for longer than 2 nights. The room I was in was very spacious with twin beds and a sofa. The furniture is a little dated and the shower cubicle was quite small, but this didn't affect our stay. The breakfast they provide is great, and I especially liked the sekt you can have - a really nice touch. The management were always friendly and welcoming, too.

Friendly small hotel in a lovely location

This is a great place to stay when visiting Minden - five minutes walk to the town centre and with a lovely personal feel. We were welcomed by the owner who greeted all guests on arrival and at breakfast each morning. Lovely attention to detail with coffee and snacks available from the breakfast room at all times. Excellent selection of breakfast items including Sekt - great way to start the day! We were in a very spacious room on the top floor of this old building - it would benefit from a bigger shower enclosure in the spacious bathroom but the overall experience was a very positive one and we would recommend this hotel for its genuine hospitality.

Thin curtains in the room

The booking we made by email was not recognised when we arrived. Apparently the hotel has to reconfirm your reservation once again. Luckliy there was a room available. The room is ok for the size, but the curtains wake you up when the sun has rised up, so in summer early. There is no safe and fridge in the room. Breakfast is ok but simple. We paid 90 euros for one night which is not a bargain for this area.
