Wonderful vacation in alps

We with wife staying in this B&B for the 3 time. This great place with great view of Karwendel. Owners gives very rich breackfasts. Ingolf and Heidi always help their guests with hists. They make renovation in house and many things now new. Will surely come again for this 5 star vacation :)

Friendly and a great view

Although you could say the guesthouse is old fashioned in some ways it is a very friendly place to stay. The rooms are comfortable and the view is Amazing as can be seen on other people's photos. Heidi and Ingolf do not just treat you as a guest and ignore you, they chat to you and offer advice on what to do or where to go. Breakfast is good with fresh rolls. It is about 10 mins out of Mittenwald but not too far to go and it is therefore quiet. And did I mention...the view is Amazing!!!

Great place!

We stayed for two nights to explore the area. This place blew us away, especially at the price they charge. The first best part is the view which we watched at night. It is beautiful. Breakfast was also top notch and homemade. Finally, the rooms are functional and spotless. Great stay for us!

Loved Backeralm

Situated above Mittenwald, the first thing that we saw was the unbelievable view. Ingolf and Heidi greeted us on arrival and had upgraded us to a beautiful room with a view of the Alps and the city below. Amazing. Heidi's breakfast the next morning was elegant and delicious and Ingolf gave us tons of suggestions on what to see and do in the area. He also gave us info about the Austrian autobahn pass we needed. They were both charming and made our stay memorable. We would love to stay here again. We highly recommend staying at Backeralm to anyone visiting the area.
