If you are looking for an affordable place to stay near the Wiesn at Oktoberfest time, you are in the best hands here. Simple rooms, but quiet. Parking available. Quaint Bavarian restaurant without turiculture. Young crew in service. Top.

Caution - warm beer.

I only had a light beer there in the afternoon, but it was not good - because the beer was not cold at all, but rather warm. The server said that this is normal straight from the tap. Not good.

It's okay for the low price and a two nights stay

The room was huge, clean and bright. Also, the hotel has a nice restaurant and garden. The staff is really friendly and helpful.
The room was facing a quite busy street and a church, so it was really noisy in the morning, and could not sleep with an open window. The street noise starts pretty early around 7am.
The other kind of problem was with the bathroom. Although it is huge, the shower space is quite small and the curtain is constantly touching you during showering.

Dont choose if you like good sleep

One of the dirtiest hotels i have ever been :(
Across the street there is church. Bells starts ringing at 07:00 and continues EVERY 15MINS!!!
Because there is no conditioner we slept with open window so it was louder even more because of the bells and trafic :(
The only good thing : free parking outside which is good for travellers by car

Super hotel

It was nice to be in alter wirt thalkirchen hotel we enjoyed our staying there me and my fiancee
We were in Germany for business then we stayed there for 5 days and it was amazing
Only 100 meters from the subway so u can be where u want
The stuff there is really friendly
And the restaurant is really good and nice and the food is fantastic
Next time in Bavarian for sure we be in alter wirt thalkirchen and thank u so much nancy , Lucia and aneta for the good hospitality and the nice food
We will come back ❤❤❤❤❤❤
