Five Star Gem

What a find! This hotel tucked away but only 15 minutes walk from main station. Quiet street so easy sleeping. The room was small but beautifully formed. Great air conditioning which was quiet and efficient. Excellent coffee in the machine. Bathroom again small but well thought out. Breakfast……. Ah I was worried because of an earlier review. No need to be. One of the best buffet breakfasts for a long time. It’s a German breakfast so it’s a cold buffet with boiled eggs. Freshest croissants and rolls, fresh fruit, muesli, juice. But the quality was outstanding. The staff ready and attentive to bring coffee to order. Couldn’t fault it. Other hotels should take note. Everything from cheeses to jams was excellent.

Excellent location, extremely noisy.

Nice villa, good location, nice reception. The room is small, has dark walls and looks even smaller. The reading lamps were so funzelick that you couldn't read in bed at night without having the uncomfortable large room light on. Unfortunately, the room was also so noisy that you could hear every word, every step and even the coffee machine from the room above. Also, every noise from the hallway and staircase went into the room. The self-praised breakfast on the homepage allowed itself rather than mediocre three-star breakfast. For egg dishes there were only boiled eggs, a juice (orange), only a cheese and dry bread. However, the croissants were very delicious. The jam was also great. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very nice quaint hotel.
Not very stroller friendly at the entrance. Staff was helpful.
Hotel does not have a bar. Very limited drinks options at night
